METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL
•Located in Norwalk, Los Angeles County Under the supervision of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program Director, the Program Assistant assists in managing logistics for system updates, communication, job aids, training, working with clinical supervisors, program management to ensure training is scheduled for all HER initiatives. Create local initiative for EHR program planning, development, and implementation; manage logistics of activities related to EHR system updates; coordinates with training officers and clinical supervisors to ensure EHR related trainings are scheduled and completed; administratively supervise local facility organizational change initiatives to improve EHR system adoption and increase end user and patient satisfaction; establish and provide support for local EHR program priorities; act on behalf of the Program Director in their absence; and other duties and responsibilities. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills, analyze complex problems and take appropriate action, and communicate effectively. Minimum Qualifications Either I Two years of clinical nursing experience in the Department of Mental Health performing the duties of a class comparable in level of responsibility to that of a Supervising Registered Nurse or Unit Supervisor in a treatment program for the mentally disabled. Or II Two years of clinical experience as a psychiatric social worker, psychologist, rehabilitation therapist, or teacher in a treatment program for the mentally disabled.
