Our students work at different levels, and some need additional help understanding foundational concepts. We're looking for someone who is patient, encouraging, and skilled at breaking down math concepts and explaining them in different ways until students understand.

Responsibilities:

Work alongside the lead math teacher Provide one-on-one and small-group math support Help students understand new and foundational concepts Keep students engaged and on task

Qualifications:

Experience teaching or tutoring math required Strong middle-school math skills Ability to explain concepts clearly in multiple ways Patient and comfortable working with students who need extra support Small class environment with approximately a 1:8 teacher-to-student ratio . This is a great part-time position for an experienced tutor, retired teacher, substitute teacher, education major with substantial tutoring experience, or educator looking for a consistent morning schedule.

Pay:

$30.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
