These are 6 hour positions open both during the academic day and for the after school program. Possible hours are 8:30am to 2:30pm or 12pm to 6pm. Strong math and/or ELA skills preferred. Candidates for these positions will possess: A commitment to students and learning An appreciation for working with children from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and be able to handle classroom situations with fairness and patience Willingness and the ability to follow the teacher's directions The ability to communicate effectively with students and teachers These individuals must meet all of the following minimum requirements: Have the ability to operate audio visual equipment, keep records, prepare instructional materials, have good writing skills, and have adequate computer skills Medical clearance for communicable diseases and tuberculosis (TB) Provide a DOJ background check if position is offered Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States Valid CPR/ first aid certification training to be completed if hired Job Description /

Print Instructional Assistants shall assist teachers in the classroom to effectively implement the curriculum. Instructional Assistants shall supervise student activities and will work collaboratively with staff, students and parents.
