Key Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a school environment highly preferred Comfort and confidence working with Level 3 Autism students, especially those with intense support needs Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to challenging situations Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment Initiative, empathy, and a proactive approach to meeting student needs

What You'll Do:

Support classroom instruction and assist students with daily routines Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior plans Supervise and support students in both group and one-on-one settings Collaborate with teachers and special education staff on lesson adaptations and strategies Assist with sensory and behavioral interventions Monitor student progress and document observations as required Provide compassionate redirection and encouragement to facilitate growth This contract position is Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
