Key Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a school setting as a paraprofessional Demonstrated background supporting students with behavioral challenges and aggression Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and personal care as needed Strong commitment to reliability and consistency in daily attendance Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Compassion, patience, and resilience in high-energy environments Enthusiasm for collaborative work alongside special education professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct, one-on-one support to an elementary student with significant behavioral needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, behavior specialists, and therapists to reinforce intervention strategies and individual plans Monitor student safety and facilitate engagement in daily activities, classroom routines, and transitions Offer assistance with toileting and other personal care in a respectful, professional manner Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and daily observations as required Utilize proactive strategies to support regulation, positive behavior, and social participation
