Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in an educational environment focused on Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners. This onsite contract role centers on assisting students and teachers as an ASL Paraprofessional within grades K-12, making a direct impact in their classroom experience. Youll be an essential bridge for communication, helping students thrive and supporting instructors in delivering high-quality education. In this position, you will work a consistent schedule of 31 hours per week, offering both meaningful interaction and work-life balance. Qualifications & Required Experience:
Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) Valid California Paraprofessional License Experience with or desire to work in a school for the Deaf Previous service as a paraprofessional or in educational settings preferred Ability to engage with students across grades K12 Understanding and compliance with state and district certification requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
