Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional or in a supportive classroom role Understanding of effective classroom management and instructional techniques Comfort working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching styles and classroom environments High school diploma or equivalent (additional coursework or certifications are a plus) Reliability, patience, and a positive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities, offering one-on-one or small group support as needed Provide guidance and encouragement to students, reinforcing lesson objectives Adapt instructional materials, help prepare resources, and assist with classroom organization Support students social-emotional well-being, modeling positive behavior Supervise students in various settings, ensuring safety and engagement during activities, recess, and lunch Foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all learners Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development as required As a valued contributor, youll find opportunities to build your skills while making a difference in the lives of young students.
