Job Description

Job description: We are seeking Program Aides to join our team. Under the direct supervision of Lead Program Aide, you would interact, provide toileting assistance (as needed), follow assigned educational curriculum for the disabled adult program, participate in outings and community events. Our mission is to promote the independence and integration of adults with developmental disabilities into the community. Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Implement activities as scheduled. Instruct clients in the performance of work, life skills, job skills training and interpersonal skills development. Maintains accurate daily documentation and reports. Assist clients in toileting and menstrual and other care as needed. Attend training and meetings as scheduled. Assist in creative, positive environment. Assist in client medical emergencies. Make sure that staff maintains a professional, positive work environment. Completes all documentation as required. Follows all safety procedures Attendance and punctuality. Stay in assigned workstation, area, or room. Take duty-free breaks & lunches, as scheduled.
Requirements:
HS Diploma, basic computer skills, read & write in
English Pre-Employment Requirements:
Pulling, pushing, lifting up to 40lbs FBI/DOJ Background check, Non-DOT Physical, TB & Drug Screening (Drug Free Site)
CDC Standards Valid California Driver's License Job Type:
