This role combines culinary responsibilities with classroom support, focusing on creating a nurturing environment for children with diverse needs. As a vital part of our community, you will help foster growth, independence, and learning through engaging activities and nutritious meal preparation. Your enthusiasm and commitment will directly impact our students' development and daily experience. Duties Prepare and serve healthy, balanced meals tailored to individual dietary requirements, including special diets for children with disabilities or allergies Assist teachers in implementing classroom activities that promote literacy, math, early childhood development, and social skills Support classroom management by supervising children during meals, playtime, and learning activities to ensure safety and positive behavior Work closely with students, providing mentoring, tutoring, and behavioral support to enhance their educational experience Collaborate with staff to develop individualized plans for children with autism or other special needs, ensuring inclusive participation in all activities Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and classroom spaces in accordance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and specialists about students' progress, needs, and behavior management strategies Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, preferably in private schools or Montessori environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff Familiarity with special education techniques, behavior management strategies, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in proofreading lesson materials or instructional content Classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Prior experience in cooking or meal preparation within an educational setting is preferred but not required Join us if you're passionate about nurturing young minds while supporting their nutritional needs!
