The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and development for preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher Assistant will be responsible for helping the lead teacher implement age-appropriate educational activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth. Responsibilities Help develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Educate children on basic academic concepts, social skills, and emotional development. Provide individualized attention to students, addressing their unique needs and learning styles. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Help monitor children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including First Aid protocols. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their curiosity and creativity. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Requirements Experience working with young children in a preschool setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to help the lead teacher create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that supports children's emotional well-being. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners. Minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education is required.
