In this role, you will support K-12 students in special education by providing one-on-one and small group support, while assisting across multiple classrooms as needed. Requirements:

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent. At least 60 college units or an AA/AS degree is preferred Coursework at an accredited institution of higher education in child development, education and/or psychology is preferred Effective written and verbal communication skills

Reliable Transportation Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to assigned student/s with diverse learning needs, including academic assistance and/or physical support as required. Monitor and verify the completion of homework and any missing assignments. Ensure the safety and well-being of students during classroom activities and transitions. Communicate effectively with teachers and other staff to coordinate support for students. Foster a gentle and supportive environment for students to encourage positive behavior. Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records of student progress and academic performance.
