Job Summary Montessori School of Pleasanton is seeking Assistant Teachers for our Primary and Toddler classrooms. We are a well established, year round school with a long waitlist and many long term staff members. We are looking for caring, dependable individuals who enjoy working with young children and are interested in making a long term commitment to our school. Good attendance, punctuality, and reliability are very important in this position. Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. Other schedules may be available. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, nurturing, Montessori prepared classroom environment. Provide attentive care and supervision throughout the school day. Support classroom activities, routines, meals, and transitions. Work cooperatively with teachers, staff, children, and families. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Qualifications Experience working with young children is preferred but not required. Dependable, punctual, and committed to good attendance. Warm, patient, and comfortable working as part of a team. Montessori or preschool experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate and can support completion of required Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework if needed.
