Program Aide plays an important role in providing daily support to participants and assisting with personal care, activities, meals, transportation, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Pay & Schedule Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM -1:30

Full-time Key Responsibilities Assist participants with activities of daily living, including grooming, personal hygiene, feeding, walking, and toileting, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Provide respectful and compassionate assistance while maintaining each participant's dignity, privacy, and independence. Assist with group, recreational, social, and therapeutic activities. Observe participants and promptly report physical, mental, behavioral, or other changes to nursing staff. Assist with meal preparation, serving, and clean-up. Complete daily documentation, service records, and other required paperwork accurately and timely. Assist participants with appointments and transportation as assigned. Support staff in maintaining a clean, safe, respectful, and positive environment. Communicate effectively and respectfully with participants, families, caregivers, and members of the interdisciplinary team. Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, and program requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work respectfully, patiently, and compassionately with older adults, including individuals who may have physical, cognitive, or behavioral limitations. Current First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain certification within the first six months of employment. Previous experience working with older adults or in healthcare, caregiving, adult day care, or similar setting is preferred. CNA, HHA, or CHHA certification is preferred. Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and complete required documentation. Preferred Experience Experience working in Adult Day Health Care (ADHC), Adult Day Program (ADP), senior care, home care, or healthcare setting. Experience assisting older adults with activities of daily living. Experience working with individuals with dementia, mobility limitations, or other special care needs.
