Hours:
Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 1:30-5:30/ Thurs 1:30-2:30
  • Drive 15 passenger van to various parks around the Poway area and provide age
  • appropriate activities for children ages 5-10. Activities include art projects, STEM projects and sports/ outdoor games.
  • Monitor and manage behavior to ensure a positive and respectful environment
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate daily activities and routines and plan engaging developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
  • Complete organizing and cleaning tasks at end of day ```Experience```
  • Previous experience working in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children Looking for a high-energy fun-loving teacher to join our team.
This is a somewhat unconventional position. There are daily field trips (mostly to local parks) and the position requires the ability to, or willlingness to learn, drive a 15 passanger van.
