Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with children or adolescents in an academic setting Familiarity with classroom support, behavioral strategies, and individual assistance techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support personnel, and other paraprofessionals Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans, adapting activities to individual student needs Provide one-on-one or group support to students, including those with special education requirements Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive classroom atmosphere Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times (lunch, recess, transitions) Track student progress and communicate observations to educational staff Encourage student engagement and model positive behavior
