Paraprofessional Requirements Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet ONE of the following:
  • 48+ college units (attach unofficial transcripts), OR
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or higher (attach diploma or unofficial transcripts), OR
  • Passing score on a Paraprofessional Exam or CBEST (attach test results).
Please upload your transcripts, diploma, or test results to your Edjoin application IF available. Applicants who have not yet met these requirements are still encouraged to apply. If selected for an interview, Human Resources will reach out to schedule a Paraprofessional test at the District Office prior to the interview.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Possession of current and valid American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certificate, or certificate must be received within 30 calendar days of first day of employment. District employees must apply through Ed-Join using a password-protected, In-District Application. The password can be obtained from your site secretary or the Human Resources office at (916) 630-3310. Required documents must be attached to the Ed-Join application (do not email, mail, or fax). If you have problems with Ed-Join, please contact the Ed-Join help desk at (888) 900-8945.
