$19.00- 23.

Program Aides are responsible for the development of youth, relationships, and fun at the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Helena and Calistoga. Program Aides, under the supervision and direction of the Site Director, will, through activities and informal contact, create and facilitate enrichment programs, and lead small groups of youth aged 4-7.GENERAL PURPOSE
The purpose of the Program Aide position will be to assist Site Director's in the smooth operation of the Unit.QUALIFICATIONS
- High school Diploma and/or a minimum of 1 year experience in youth development or related field.
- Competent written and oral communication skills.
- Competent word processing, spreadsheet, publishing, member management, and other digital resource skills.
- Must be able to patrol Club and grounds on foot, visually observe program areas, physically demonstrate the Club's various recreational activities, and assist students with school/homework assignments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration- Support unit/activity/program attendance.
- Demonstrate an awareness of the Program Calendar and support units with respect to its goals and implementation.
- Communicate Club policies and procedures to all staff and assure their adherence. Staff Development
- Attend and actively participate in all appropriate staff meetings and trainings. Outcome Measurement
- Support regular tracking of program attendance in the Member Tracking System Program
- Set up and orchestrate activities within the unit.
- Advanced knowledge of rules and game variations for all club games and equipment.
- Help to create a safe environment during Club activities as needed.
- Attend any community, school or Club administrative meetings as directed.
- Assist in the cleaning/maintenance of the facility.
