Join Door to Hope as an Administrative Assistant and play a key role in keeping program operations running smoothly while supporting staff, clients, and community partners. This position provides administrative, clerical, and reception support to program supervisors and teams, ensuring office operations meet the standards and needs of Door to Hope programs. What You'll Do Administrative & Office Support Provide general administrative and clerical support for program supervisors and teams Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation Maintain organized filing systems and office records Support office workflow to ensure projects and tasks are completed efficiently Reception & Customer Service Serve as a point of contact for visitors, clients, and community partners Answer phones and direct calls appropriately Provide courteous and professional assistance to families, including children and caregivers Support a welcoming and professional office environment Documentation & Confidentiality Maintain confidential client and program records Ensure documentation and administrative procedures meet Door to Hope standards Assist staff with data entry, reports, and record organization as needed Program Support Work closely with supervisors and program managers to support daily program operations Assist with office tasks, copying, scanning, and document preparation Support staff in maintaining efficient and organized workspaces What We're Looking For Education High school diploma or GED required Coursework or training in office skills, business technology, or administrative support preferred Experience 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role required Experience in a nonprofit, behavioral health, or recovery-focused organization preferred Licensure / Certification None required Required Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of general office procedures including filing, correspondence, and record organization Strong computer and keyboarding skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) Ability to operate standard office equipment (copier, scanner, printer, fax machine, calculator) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and community relations skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client information Ability to work respectfully and compassionately with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges Bilingual English/Spanish required Additional Requirements Health screening clearance TB clearance (within 7 days of hire and annually thereafter) Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed Ability to lift and carry supplies or groceries weighing 20-30 pounds Ability to tolerate moderate stress levels Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday (schedule to be determined) Why Join Us?
