We are a specialized school licensed by the California Department of Education to serve students ages 5 to 22 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental learning differences. We provide ongoing staff development, training and support to provide the most effective therapies and emerging technologies to ensure our students' success. Role Responsibilities:
To assist the teacher in the classroom working with Elementary, Middle School, and Secondary students. Our model is collaborative with Education Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and an engaged administrative support team. Assist in preparing and implementing curriculum, supporting students using positive behavior interventions, recording data regarding behaviors including Individual Education Plan goals, and participate in classroom meetings and activity preparation.
Qualifications:
Completion of 48 units of higher education OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of Wings Learning Center Assessment. Experience preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate!
