We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Instructional SpEd Aide to support a student with special needs in an afterschool program in San Jacinto, California. This is a 22 hour per week position . The hours are 12pm-6pm . It involves providing individualized support to help the student stay engaged, safe, and successful in a structured group environment. Responsibilities include assisting the student with participating in group activities, promoting positive behavior, encouraging communication and social interaction, and helping the student stay focused and included during program hours. The aide will also provide personal care support as needed. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and comfortable working with students who may require extra support to navigate a busy afterschool setting. Prior experience supporting students with autism or other developmental differences is preferred. Tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required.
