We are seeking two dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students and educators in a vibrant school community near San Jose, CA. This full-time, contract role is tailored for professionals who are already onboarded and ready to start immediately. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 2:45 PM, totaling 30 hours per week. While this is currently a short-term assignment, there is potential for extension through the full school year, offering stability and the chance to continue growing your career.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must be an onboarded paraprofessional, cleared and ready for placement Prior experience working as a paraprofessional in an educational setting Comfortable assisting students with diverse learning needs Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff Strong communication and organizational skills Flexibility to adapt to classroom changes and varying student requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

Support classroom activities and student learning under the direction of licensed teachers Provide individual or small group assistance to help students achieve academic and behavioral goals Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment Assist with classroom management and organization Participate actively in team meetings, trainings, and school functions as needed Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records As a paraprofessional in this dynamic setting, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing students educational experience while collaborating closely with skilled educators.
