As a BrightBee After School Paraprofessional, you'll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. No two days are the same—but every day matters. We are currently partnered with the following school districts. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. T he more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is . What You'll Be Doing Support students with learning and after school classroom activities Help manage behavior using positive reinforcement Assist during lunch, recess, and school activities Work closely with teachers and school staff Who This Is Perfect For You enjoy working with kids or teens You're patient, reliable, and positive You want to build experience in education or behavior support You're looking for flexible and/or consistent work (several of our single day assignments convert to long-term opportunities) No experience? We'll help you get started. ✅ Basic Requirements 48 college credits Experience working with students with severe disabilities RBT experience a plus Bilingual (Spanish) Before You Start To keep students safe , you'll need to: Pass a background check Follow safety and reporting guidelines Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training.
