The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children succeed, particularly students with diverse learning needs, and is committed to fostering student growth, confidence, and achievement. Under the supervision of certificated staff, the Intervention Assistant will provide targeted instructional support to students individually and in small groups. Responsibilities include implementing intervention strategies, reinforcing academic skills, supporting behavior goals, preparing instructional materials, and assisting with progress monitoring. The role may also include setting up learning spaces, organizing materials, and providing supervision during instructional activities. The successful candidate will be able to understand and follow oral and written directions, demonstrate knowledge of general classroom procedures and equipment, and maintain positive, cooperative working relationships with students, staff, and families. Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
