From 11:15-5:30pm you will be part of a team overseeing children ages 3-6 on the playground, in nap and in our aftercare program. South Coast Montessori Our beautiful 9 acre, park-like campus, is located in a quiet enclave of Goleta and features meticulously appointed indoor and outdoor classroom environments, where children are encouraged to move freely within the environment, following their own unique interests and curiosity. We are dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of each child and staff member alike. We offer extensive team training and promote professional development in AMI (Association Montessori International) education to interested employees, and advocate lifelong learning for all. Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) units preferred
- Confidence and experience with the 3-6 age group
- Knowledge and interest in the Montessori method
- Reliability and professionalism
- Warm and compassionate demeanor
- Collaborative and flexible work style
- Must pass the LiveScan fingerprint testing through the Department of Justice Hours The position is 11:15 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
