Under the supervision of special education staff, teachers, and designated school personnel, you will play an important role in helping students achieve success both academically and socially. - Key Responsibilities
- + Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classroom and school environments + Assist teachers and special education staff with student supervision and learning activities + Support students with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks as needed + Follow individualized student care plans and behavioral support strategies + Assist with therapeutic and rehabilitation-related activities as directed by qualified professionals + Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment + Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school policies •Qualifications•+ High School Diploma or equivalent required + Passion for working with children and supporting student success + Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with school staff + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Must comply with all applicable professional standards and practices •Requirements•+ Must be at least 18 years of age + Current CPR certification (if required by assignment) + TB screening, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable + Current health certificate (per contract or state requirements) + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements •Why Join Us?
