JOB SUMMARY
(Library) Under the general supervision of the site principal, the para-educator II librarian works independently to perform a wide variety of clerical and library services for faculty and students. Supervises students and volunteers. Maintains the library and its collection.QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of high school library practices and techniques. Ability to work with students in a constructive manner, work cooperatively with staff members. The ideal candidate would have strong computer skills including ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, and basic website management. Familiarity with Chromebooks is a plus. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the ability to guide students in academic research practices. Must pass District Instructional Assistant exam or have earned an AA degree. Must be flexible and able to work independently with minimum supervision. CPR and First Aid certificate required within six months. Must also complete a post offer/pre- placement exam (POPP), fingerprint and TB clearances.
JOB SUMMARY
(SpEd) Under the general supervision of the school principal, assist special education and general education staff to plan, deliver, and monitor instruction for special education and general education students in academic and non-academic areas. Understanding of and experience working with Students with Disabilities (including Individual Education Plans and 504 Plans), English Learners (especially those with no or limited English skills) and General Education students. Assist in data collection, implementation of behavior plans, delivery of small group instruction, and supervision of students to maintain an effective learning environment. Perform general supervisory duties during non-instructional times as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
