Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist in the loading and unloading of students with special needs as necessary; assist in providing instruction and care to individuals or groups of students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504s.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school with one year experience working with youth in an organized setting.REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
Assist in the safe bus transportation and care of students' physical and/or behavioral needs as described in his/her IEP or 504. Maintain order and discipline among students on a bus following District policies and procedures and communicate with staff and parents as needed. E Assist in the transportation of students with disabilities to and from designated locations as assigned; lift and secure wheelchairs; assist in the loading and unloading of students as necessary. E Prepare student conduct, incident reports, and collect data.E Utilize two-way radio for bus to bus and bus to base communication. E Attend safety meetings.
