Oak Tree Learning Center is expanding to Victorville , and we are looking for a dynamic Lead Teacher / Assistant Director to help build our brand-new campus culture from the ground up! Lead our play-based early childhood education curriculum, setting the gold standard for social-emotional learning and cognitive child development. In theOffice:
Assist with center enrollment, maintain student and staff files, and oversee facility operations alongside the Director.In Leadership:
Step up as the primary point of contact for parents, staff, and state licensing when the Director is off-site, ensuring 100% California CCLD Title 22 compliance.Qualifications & What You Bring Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.ECE Units:
12 ECE core units required ( Child Growth & Development ; Child, Family & Community ; and Program/Curriculum ).Admin Units:
3 Units in Child Care Center Administration, Management, or Adult Supervision (or actively enrolled).Experience:
3+ years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting ( Lead Teacher experience highly preferred ).Skills:
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for building positive relationships with families and staff. California State Clearance & Compliance Requirements CPR / First Aid Certification & 16 Hours of Preventive Health & Safety Training. Current Mandated Reporter Certification. LiveScan Fingerprint Clearance (CDSS / Guardian). Current TB clearance, Health Screening, and Immunization records (MMR, Tdap, Flu) perCA SB 792.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Non-Exempt; entry rate based on ECE units and administrative experience).Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday (Daytime shifts).Benefits & Perks:
