Job Summary Job Summary Assistant Site Supervisor (Class 131) Serve as a Master Teacher on the floor with the children daily. May supervise single site program, in the absence of the Site Supervisor. Will provide instruction and supervise Teachers, Aides/Assistants, Food Service Employees, and Center Clerical Staff. Oversees curriculum implementation. Under direction of the Directors, provide a quality child development program for children six weeks through 6 years and provide leadership for the center staff, children, and parents/caregivers. Prior to Employment the Employee Must 1. Obtain Live Scan (fingerprint clearance) and must pass a criminal record background check in order to become associated with FamilyF.O.C.U.S. 2.
Pass a pre-employment physical, initial drug screening, have a negative TB skin test (or chest x-ray if necessary) and provide required immunizations upon initial hire and when updates are needed. 3. Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout an eight (8) hour/day, to sit in child-sized chairs and on the floor, and to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours/day. 4. Required to complete AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training, annually. 5. Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR training upon hire. 6. Provide a photocopy of highest diploma or degree received. 7. Complete a minimum of six (6) units of study in child development; three (3) specific to infants. 8. Submit a photocopy of all professional and child development coursework verified with transcripts, as well as any licenses, permits or certificates when applicable by position. 9. Hold a current California Driver's License; provide a DMV report, proof of insurance and a current registration of vehicle, before driving for Family F.O.C.U.S. and to be entitled to reimbursement for mileage.
