We are seeking compassionate and dependable Substitute Paraprofessionals / Paraeducators to provide coverage for school-based assignments in Watsonville, CA . This flexible, on-call position supports students with special education needs when regular staff members are absent or additional classroom assistance is required. Responsibilities Accept substitute assignments based on availability and school needs. Provide one-on-one or small-group support under the direction of the classroom teacher or special education team. Assist students with academic activities, classroom assignments, and daily routines. Support students with behavioral, social, emotional, and personal needs. Follow strategies, accommodations, and interventions outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor and document student progress or behavior when requested. Collaborate professionally with teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel. Adapt quickly to different classrooms, grade levels, students, and school procedures. Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records. Perform other duties assigned by the school or supervising staff. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with children or students is preferred. School-based or special education experience is preferred. Experience supporting students with disabilities is a plus. Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work at different school locations. Strong communication, patience, dependability, and flexibility

Pay:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
