- Provide academic support to TK-12 students in general education subject areas in both in-person and hybrid independent study settings;
- Assist teachers in delivering instruction to individuals and small groups, reinforcing lessons and supporting student understanding;
- Support students in completing assignments, organizing work, and staying engaged in independent study;
- Assist with supervision and engagement of students during instructional time, including learning labs, work groups, and support sessions;
- Provide support to at-risk youth, including encouragement, redirection, and assistance with academic and behavioral needs;
- Assist in maintaining a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment;
- Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and participation;
- Support implementation of instructional strategies and interventions as directed by certificated staff;
- Assist with organization and maintenance of instructional materials, records, and classroom environments;
- Support students with basic technology use related to independent study platforms and assignments;
- Provide supervision during unstructured times as needed;
- Follow student plans, accommodations, and supports as directed by the teacher;
- Assist with student enrollment, orientation, and program transitions as assigned;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
