What youll bring:

Experience as a paraprofessional in educational settings Confidence and competence in supporting students with Level 3 Autism or similar intensive special needs Patience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm when working with complex behaviors Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff Reliability for a full-time scheduleMonday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week Core responsibilities: Work directly one-on-one and in small groups with students on a very intense caseload Assist teachers in implementing academic and behavioral plans Support instructional activities, social integration, and daily living skills development Collaborate with the broader educational support team to adjust strategies as student needs evolve Ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment Communicate progress and observations to supervising teachers and staff This position offers a contract assignment during the school year and an opportunity to build valuable experience with a highly impactful student population.
