Our Approach to Paraprofessional Support At RMP, paraprofessionals do more than help in classrooms; they make sure every student can access learning, grow independence, and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. By supporting instruction, reinforcing routines, using accommodations, and helping students manage behavior and social-emotional skills, you play a direct role in their success every day. This work is all about creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where students feel seen, supported, and empowered. In this role, you help students build confidence, independence, and a love of learning that sets them up for long-term success. Paraprofessionals at Rocky Mountain Prep will... Support instruction and student learning by implementing lesson plans, providing accommodations/modifications, collecting data, and working with individuals or small groups under teacher direction. Reinforce routines, behavior expectations, and social-emotional skills to promote student independence and uphold classroom and school-wide systems. Supervise students to ensure safety during all parts of the school day, including transitions, lunch, recess, and arrival/dismissal. Collaborate and communicate professionally with lead teachers, school staff, and families to support student success and school goals. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and equity-minded practices that honor student dignity and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment. Qualifications Required:
