Ampersand Therapy is hiring Paraprofessionals in Colorado Springs, CO to support students in a K-12 school setting. You'll work alongside teachers and school staff to provide meaningful academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support, helping students feel confident and successful throughout their school day. • + 401(k) with company match Ongoing support and mentorship from our team Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses Make a meaningful impact in students' lives every day What You'll Do Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students in the classroom Support students with academic tasks, daily routines, and classroom activities Assist with implementing behavior plans and classroom strategies Reinforce social, emotional, and communication skills Help students with transitions throughout the school day Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Help maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Maintain basic documentation as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills Ability to follow direction and support academic and behavioral plans School-based or paraprofessional experience a plus A genuine interest in helping students grow and succeed About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
