Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and virtual Speech-Language Pathologists as a highly valued paraprofessional/facilitator. Working full time (37.5 hours per week), you'll play a vital role bridging the gap between in-person and remote learning, contributing directly to student engagement and progress. Candidates must already be identified before submission, as the district is currently in the process of confirming facilitator needs. This position may involve coverage for a maternity leave as well as a potential full school year assignment. The facilitator will assist students by escorting them to their scheduled therapy sessions, helping them log in to virtual platforms, and ensuring access to printed materials as needed.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional, particularly in school settings Comfortable managing schedules, transitions, and basic technical tasks for students Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support students of varied ages and needs Dependable and proactive, able to anticipate needs and follow through on responsibilities independently Experience assisting students in virtual learning environments or familiarity with teletherapy is highly preferred
Responsibilities Include:
Escorting students to designated areas for virtual therapy sessions Assisting students in logging in to online platforms and navigating technical aspects Printing and distributing materials as directed by the SLP Supporting classroom activities when not facilitating therapy access Maintaining confidentiality and upholding district policies Immerse yourself in a collaborative educational environment, working alongside professionals committed to student success.
