Afternoon Assistant Teacher (Part-Time) Summit Early Learning Center is looking for caring, dependable individuals who have a heart for children and enjoy being part of a supportive team. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, environment where children, families, and staff thrive together. As an Afternoon Assistant Teacher , you'll play an important role in helping our classrooms end each day smoothly. You'll support our lead teachers by creating a calm, organized environment while building positive relationships with children and families. Responsibilities Assist children as they prepare to go home. Help supervise children during afternoon activities and outdoor play. Support the lead teacher during parent pick-up and ensure safe, positive transitions. Clean and sanitize classroom materials and surfaces. Empty trash, tidy the classroom, and prepare the room for the next day. Work as part of a collaborative team to create a welcoming and joyful environment. What We're Looking For A positive, dependable, and caring attitude. A love for working with young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to actively engage with children indoors and outdoors. Reliability and a willingness to help wherever needed. Schedule Monday-Friday | 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. or 1:30-5:30 Pay $16.00-$17.00 per hour , based on experience.
