Job Description

We are looking for someone who is experienced and lead teacher qualified to work with infants. Or willing to get lead qualified through Colorado Shines. Duties include planning activities with small children, feeding, guiding, loving, diapering and light cleaning to keep the room clean and tidy. We are looking for someone who can help with both opening and closing shifts. We are open 7:30-5:30 M-F, but need a teacher who could work Monday, Wednesday, Friday. We would love for the person applying to have their lead teacher qualifications through Colorado Shines or someone who is willing to get it quickly.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be teacher qualified for the State of Colorado, Department of Early Childhood or willing to get qualified asap
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people and be supportive of different families and cultures
  • Ability to problem solve quickly
  • Be flexible and able to shift gears and go with the flow as needed
  • Ability to lift children and also get up and down from the floor
  • Ability to work with the director and staff as a team player
  • An abundance of creativity, enthusiasm, patience and love for children
  • Ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment
  • Some experience and skills in parenting issues
RESPONSIBILITIES
Along with the lead teacher, help plan, prepare and implement daily activities that address all developmental areas including: gross and fine motor skills, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual Follow and uphold all Colorado State Licensing Rules and Regulations as well as Colorado Shines guide lines

$16.00 - $22.78 per hour
