We invite dedicated paraprofessionals to take on a rewarding contract assignment for the 2024-2027 academic years, supporting students across various school settings and age groups. This opportunity requires at least one year of experience in Special Education classrooms, and candidates with significant or severe caseload backgrounds will be strongly preferred. Flexibility is essential, as you may be reassigned between school sites or age groups throughout your contract to best meet student needs.

Whats required:

Minimum 1 year of full-time SPED classroom experience (required) Strong preference for those with significant/severe caseload experience At least 2 completed professional RefAssured references (must be included with application) Ability to assist with personal care, including toileting and diapering, as needed Reliable transportation; bus, Uber, or taxi not accepted Able to consistently report by 7:40 am for Elementary or 8:00 am for Middle/High settings Willingness to undergo immediate fingerprinting after offer, with a clear record required Strong adaptability and readiness to work in varied school environments Must include candidate location in application Key responsibilities: Deliver hands-on support for students with diverse learning and care needs Provide one-on-one and group assistance in classrooms, promoting engagement and inclusion Implement individualized learning and behavioral strategies under the guidance of certified staff Collaborate closely with teachers and related service providers Support with daily student routines, including personal care as necessary If youre a compassionate, adaptable paraprofessional ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you.
