Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a supportive educational environment and make a direct impact facilitating virtual speech therapy for students in a dynamic school setting near Golden, CO. This contract-based opportunity is perfect for compassionate and organized individuals with a paraprofessional background, eager to help students access vital speech-language services. As a Paraprofessional/Facilitator, you'll play a key role in connecting students with virtual speech-language pathologists. Your day will involve escorting students to therapy sessions, assisting them with technology, and ensuring they have all necessary printed materials for each session. There are openings both for a full school year commitment and to cover a maternity leave.
Ideal candidates will possess:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional, particularly in a school environment Strong technology and troubleshooting skills Ability to encourage and support students during therapy sessions Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Highly organized, punctual, and reliable Comfort printing, preparing, and distributing materials as needed Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced educational setting Primary responsibilities include: Accompanying students to and from speech therapy appointments Helping students log in and participate in virtual sessions Printing, organizing, and delivering session materials Coordinating with virtual SLPs and on-site staff Providing encouragement and support to foster student engagement Full-time positions are available, offering a predictable schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
