Job Description

Overview:
Heart and Hands Montessori serves infants and toddlers in the beautiful town of Lafayette, CO. We have one infant classroom with up to 10 infants, and two toddler classrooms serving between 10- and 14 students per classroom. We see ourselves as partners with the families we serve. We value a community that supports collaboration, teamwork, and a lifelong love of learning. We are committed to providing teachers with professional development and ongoing Montessori training/mentoring. Duties Assist in maintaining an engaging and peaceful toddler classroom. Support toddlers' development with care and guidance. Foster independence and curiosity. Ensure a safe, smooth classroom experience. Observe and share insights on children's growth. Change diapers and assist with toileting. Assist in other classrooms as needed (infant or toddler). Participate in professional development.
Requirements Minimum:
Early Childhood Teacher Qualified. Experience working with young children. Passion for early childhood education. Collaborative, flexible, and eager to learn. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to interact at toddlers' level, including lifting up to 30 lbs. Experience and/or interest in learning about Montessori education.
Preferred:
Montessori Infant/Toddler Certification. Montessori Teaching Experience. College Degree or Experience.
