Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Take on a meaningful role supporting student learning as a Paraprofessional/Facilitator for virtual Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) sessions in a dynamic school environment near Littleton, CO. This full-time contract position offers an excellent opportunity to help students access vital communication therapy and develop essential academic and social skills. Depending on district needs, placements may include coverage for maternity leave or extend through the full school year. In this role, you'll provide hands-on assistance, ensuring students participate in virtual sessions successfully by guiding them to appropriate locations, managing log-ins, and preparing session materials. Your positive and reliable presence will make a real impact on students' day-to-day school experience while directly supporting the work of onsite and remote clinicians.
Key Qualifications:
Experience as a Paraprofessional, Instructional Assistant, or similar support role in an educational setting Familiarity with virtual learning tools and comfort with basic technology Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, educators, and school staff Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability Reliable attendance and a genuine interest in student support
Responsibilities Include:
Escorting students to and from therapy locations as scheduled Assisting students with logging into virtual SLP sessions and troubleshooting simple tech issues Printing and distributing therapy materials provided by the SLP Monitoring and supervising students during sessions Communicating effectively with the SLP and school staff regarding student progress and needs If you excel in flexible school settings and are passionate about student support, this is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills and make a difference.
