In this role, you will assist lead teachers in implementing engaging curricula, supporting children's developmental needs, and ensuring a safe and positive classroom atmosphere. Your energy and compassion will help foster a love for learning while promoting social-emotional growth in children from infancy through preschool age. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Support children during daily routines such as meals, naps, playtime, and transitions to ensure comfort and safety. Supervise children closely to maintain a secure environment, practicing vigilant child supervision at all times. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong parent-teacher partnerships. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning resources to support a healthy learning environment. Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures, pediatric first aid training, and mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with regulations. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or babysitting roles is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification or training in first aid and CPR (Childhood First Aid preferred). Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
