Job Description

We staff all rooms with THREE teachers, which is one beyond what state ratio requires. Come see the difference this makes! Do you get along with others well? Are you flexible and able to deal with a fast paced environment? Do you enjoy helping children learn and grow? If so, this may be the job for you! You must be lead/ECT qualified and at a higher level on PDIS for the higher rates of pay. We are looking for a strong teacher for our preschool classroom working with 3 year olds. We use Goddard's Wonder of Learning curriculum which is inquiry based learning. This curriculum allows teachers the freedom to be creative with their lessons while providing a research based full curriculum to rely on. The person we hire would be the third teacher in the classroom. Check out our Facebook page to see some of the great things happening at our school. Responsibilities Implement engaging lesson plans tailored to early childhood education standards based on Goddard's proprietary Wonder of Learning curriculum. Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment. Provide individualized support to children, addressing their unique developmental needs. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classroom and outdoor activities. Following all heath and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, safe classroom. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but NOT required - we can train you! Strong classroom management and childcare skills helpful Experience working with children Effective communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles preferred.
