Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a real difference in students' daily experiences as a contracted paraprofessional in a vibrant educational setting just outside of Woodland Park, CO. This role offers the chance to support classroom teachers and foster a positive environment where every child can thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within schools is highly valued Ability to communicate clearly with students, teachers, and families Reliability and a collaborative approach to working within an educational team High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in education or childcare a plus Patience, flexibility, and a proactive attitude toward supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct classroom and one-on-one support to students under teacher guidance Assist in adapting materials and lesson plans to meet individual student needs Help maintain a positive, organized classroom environment Monitor student behavior and encourage engagement with classroom activities Support students with physical, emotional, or learning challenges as needed Contribute to implementing instructional programs and enrichment activities Step into a collaborative role where your dedication will empower students to reach their full potential.
