In this role, you are responsible for keeping students focused during instruction and assist students who may need extra attention. Duties and Responsibilities Assist teachers in a classroom setting Help supervise students, keeping them focused and prepared Organize learning materials and prepare classroom supplies Requirements and Qualifications Must have completed 2 years of study at an institution of higher education, OR Earned an Associate's Degree (or higher), OR Achieve at least a score of 457 on the ETS ParaPro Assessment. Demonstrate knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing in: Reading, writing, and mathematics. Reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness A passion for helping middle school students succeed.
