Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Toddler Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the youngest learners during their most formative years. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers. Your positive energy and commitment to fostering curiosity will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow every day. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages exploration and independence Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity and support developmental milestones Help with diapering, feeding, and nap routines to ensure comfort and hygiene for all children Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and interests to inform ongoing educational strategies Foster positive interactions among children to promote social skills, sharing, and cooperation Support the implementation of health and safety policies, including first aid procedures when necessary Requirements Prior experience working with young children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for toddler care Certification or training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with families Passion for early childhood education and nurturing young learners' growth Join us in shaping bright futures! Pay:
$17.50 - $20.50 per hour
