This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with teachers and staff to foster a positive learning atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication skills, both with students and colleagues Collaborative mindset with a flexible, enthusiastic approach Ability to support a variety of learning styles and special needs Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in student success High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus
Role Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in classroom instruction and classroom management Promote an inclusive and encouraging environment for all students Support students with special needs or learning differences as needed Help prepare and organize educational materials for lessons and activities Supervise students during classroom transitions, recess, and other activities Provide one-on-one or small group academic assistance under teacher direction Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
