Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience in a supportive setting. You will work closely with children aged three to four, assisting with daily activities, classroom management, and curriculum implementation to ensure each child's success and well-being. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons focused on literacy education, math, and early childhood development. Assist with classroom management to create a safe, inclusive, and structured environment conducive to learning and exploration. Engage children in educational activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and emotional regulation. Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meal times, naps, and transitions to foster independence and cooperation. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress and provide tailored support for children with special needs or disabilities. Maintain clear communication with parents regarding daily activities, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations. Support curriculum development efforts by preparing materials and organizing classroom resources aligned with Montessori or preschool teaching methods. Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early learning standards. Experience assisting with lesson planning, classroom management assistance, or educational support roles. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and working with students with diverse needs including those with disabilities. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members. Technical proficiency in educational tools or classroom technology is a plus. Previous experience in private schools or Montessori environments is advantageous but not required. Join us to inspire young minds! Pay:
$39,000.00 - $41,600.00 per year
