Desired Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut Paraprofessional Certification (CT Para Cert) required Previous experience working with children, preferably in special education or autism support settings Open to assisting with personal care, including toileting, as needed Strong communication and collaboration skills Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Essential Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers and specialists in providing instructional and behavioral support Assist students with academic and social activities, adapting to their unique learning styles Contribute to a nurturing classroom atmosphere by encouraging participation and progress Help with personal care tasks and ensure student safety throughout the day Document and communicate students achievements and needs to teachers and other team members Foster inclusion and engagement, building trusting relationships with students
