Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Education Teachers to join our team. The ideal Support Teacher/Floater candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Support Teacher/Floater role assists in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Responsibilities Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Assist with observations and assessments of children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills. Maintain classroom management through effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; 12 credits in Early Childhood Education; or willingness to enroll in an ECE program Experience working with children 6 weeks - 5 years old in an Early Education setting. Knowledge of childhood development and best practices in early childhood education. Experience in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports children's learning and development.
